About the conference
The International School and Symposium on Synchrotron Radiation in Natural Science, ISSRNS, is a series of meetings organized by members of the Polish Synchrotron Radiation Society since 1992. It is devoted to recent advances and new techniques employing synchrotron radiation and free electron lasers in physics, chemistry, material and life sciences. It is a traditional forum for discussing fundamental issues of application of the synchrotron radiation and related methods in natural sciences as well as a place to bring together scientists and students working with it.
The XVI ISSRNS conference are to be held on 25-30 May 2025 in the mountain holiday resort in the south of Poland.
MAIN TOPICS:
- Material science, nanotechnology and magnetism
- XFEL application to natural science
- Life science, structural biology and chemistry
- X-ray Research for Ecologically Sustainable Society
- Unlocking new X-ray Science: ESRF after EBS Upgrade
The XVI ISSRNS conference is supported by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education within a grant no. 2021/WK/11 which provides Polish scientists with access to the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility.
